5th March 2024
Calling all self-employed individuals registered under VAT Article 11 in Malta!
If you’re VAT-exempt (Article 11), remember that the deadline for submitting your 2023 annual VAT declaration is March 15, 2024. Ensure you include key details like the sale of goods, provision of services, purchase of stock for resale, and acquisition of capital assets.
For those self-employed individuals under VAT Article 11 with an annual turnover below the Euro 7,000 threshold, you’re exempt from this submission. However, if your turnover exceeds euro 7,000 in 2023, it’s crucial to notify the VAT department and proceed with your annual VAT declaration submission.
